What Is Btox ?

Treatment of wrinkles deepening with age also gets difficult. One of the methods of preventing wrinkles, Btox is a safe application used for 10 years. It is also used in medicine in the treatment of many diseases such as migraine, muscle retention, facial paralysis and strabismus.

Btox is a protein produced by bacteria called Clostridium Botulinum. This substance temporarily restricts the function of the muscle in the applied area by blocking the electrical conduction from the nerves to the muscles. It prevents us from doing excessive gestures. Since the mimic muscles cannot contract, wrinkles on the skin decrease or disappear. During this period, the skin has the opportunity to recover itself. Unprocessed wrinkles can repair skin more easily.

How Does Wrinkles Occur ?

Due to the continuous movement of the facial muscles under the skin, wrinkles occur. The most important determinants in the level of wrinkle are sun, age, gender, skin and muscle structure and the frequency of using facial expressions. These negative factors cause the cross-links between collagen fibers to break. The skeletal structure of the skin, consisting of collagen and elastin fibers, collapses and wrinkles occur.

How Does Btox Effect On Wrinkles ?

Btox solution is injected into small muscles under the skin in the wrinkle area. Btox's mechanism of action is that it temporarily prevents the contraction of the muscles that cause wrinkles.

The skin on the muscles, which can no longer contract, is stretched and the wrinkle opens. When the process is repeated regularly, these wrinkles are prevented from forming permanent
deep scars on the skin.

How Its Gets Applied ?

Btox is injected into the planned application area with a fine tip injector.

What Are The Application Areas ?

Corrects vertical lines between two eyebrows, causing a frown-eyed look.
Corrects the horizontal lines on the forehead.
It enables the eyebrows dropping over time to rise. Thus, the eyelids are opened and stretched,
the bags under the eyes are reduced.
It corrects wrinkles on the edge of the eyes, called crow's feet.
It is used to remove the tip of the nose that curls downward as we get older and to remove the
lines that may occur on the nose wings.
It is applied to stretch the lines on the neck.
It is used to prevent the appearance of the upper gums.
It is used to raise the corners of the mouth. Smile expression is provided.
In some cases, it can remove vertical lines on the lip.
In some cases, it is also applied to the lines descending from the lip edges to the chin.
It is used to remove tiny pits formed in the chin or to correct the shape of the jaw.
Stretches the décolleté (mid-chest) lines.

Who Can Be Applied ?

Anyone with doctor approval between the ages of 18 and 65.

Is Anesthesia Needed ?

Anesthesia is not required, but in very sensitive patients, a cold compress or a locally effective cream can be applied before the procedure. As a result, pain is felt very little during application.

When Does The Effect Start And How Long Does It Last ?

The result of the process, which takes about 15 minutes, will start within 2-4 days after the application. The full effect is seen on the 10th day. If Btox is applied for the first time, an effect lasting from 3 to 4 months is expected. In subsequent sessions, the effect continues for about 6 months. As the number of applications increases, wrinkles on the face disappears.

Is There a Side Effect ?

The risks of the process are almost non-existent under the control of an MD. These may be temporary mild redness at the application site or very rare small transient bruises.

How To Treat Sweating With Btox ?

Btox stops sweating by temporarily blocking the nerve impulse to the sweat glands. Areas with excessive sweating are determined by a special method, and small doses of Btox are injected into the skin with very fine needles. The processing time varies between 15 and 45 minutes depending on the applied area. After the treatment, the effect begins within 1 week and the effect usually continues for more than 6 months.
